Sam Ong - Associate Director
Sam is an Associate Director of Tembusu Partners and also the CFO of HeDing Investment Management, a joint venture company in China. Prior to Tembusu, Sam was in PricewaterhouseCoopers Transaction Services practice where he had served multiple PE houses and strategic investors in M&A due diligence services. Major financial due diligence projects which Sam was involved include the billion dollar sale of Asia Private Banking assets of a Dutch financial services group and buyout of a listed retail luxury watch group which operates in Asia Pacific. Sam had also assisted a Sovereign Wealth Fund in the due diligence for the corporatization of an International Airport.

Prior to Transactions Services, Sam was in the Assurance Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers where he had led the financial audit of a few listed companies in Singapore.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) from Nanyang Technological University and is a Certified Public Accountant with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore. Sam is currently pursuing a MBA from Manchester Business School.
